Learning Outcome
Students will recognize and understand truths and doctrines of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ as they are relevant to our understanding of ourselves and what it means to be a human being, and thus how they can and should impact the theory and practice of psychology.

Evaluating Psychological Theories in Light of Gospel Principles
Learning Outcome
Students will be able to understand and evaluate key theories, models, and practices in the field of psychology in terms of their compatibility or conflict with the truths revealed in the Restored Gospel and their implications for our own self-understanding.

Interpreting Psychology Through a Faith-Based Framework
Learning Outcome
Students will understand and appreciate the practice of interpreting the tenets, philosophical commitments, and assumptions of mainstream psychology in light of the principles and doctrines of the Restored Gospel rather than the other way round.
