Learning Outcome

Through studying the history of Classical archaeology, from the 18th Century to the present, successful students will develop a greater understanding of how the study of Greek and Roman cultures have shaped modern European and American culture.

Through assigned readings, classroom discussion and written papers, successful students will demonstrate their ability to evaluate museum artifacts and archaeological data intelligently.
